● Description for all accessories included (string bag, fish, flower headband, flower basket).

Materials needed:

1) Yarn (sport weight):
– for dark penguin YarnArt Jeans 28 (graphite) – less than half a skein
– for pink penguin Gazzal Baby Cotton 3444 (dusty pink) – less than half a skein
– for little penguin YarnArt Jeans 75 (light blue) – less than half a skein
– for belly YarnArt Jeans 01 (white) – less than half a skein (for one big penguin)
– for feet and for nose embroidery Gazzal Baby Cotton 3454 (brick)
– a little yarn for a string bag, fish, flowers and headband
– jute twine for a basket (you can make it from regular yarn)
2) Crochet hook size 2 mm, and a smaller size for flowers and string bag
3) Eyes size 4 mm (for big penguins), 3 mm (for little one) + glue
4) Polyester fiberfill, sewing needle, scissors, pins

You may use any other type of yarn, just remember to use a crochet hook suitable for your yarn weight.

Size of the finished toy is about 13 cm (5.1″) for big penguin, and 8 cm (3.1″) for little one

Basic crocheting skills needed:

  1.  Chain.
  2.  Single crochet.
  3.  Half double crochet.
  4. Double crochet.
  5.  Slip stitch.
  6.  Increasing and decreasing.
