This pattern contains one PDF file with easy-to-follow written description of all the details and assembly. It’s a simple pattern, there are no photos of the crocheting process, only photos of how the finished toy looks like. However, there is 1 VIDEO TUTORIAL (how to crochet gray “claws”).
Materials needed:
Yarn: Vita Brilliant (45% wool, 55% acrylic, 380 m/100 g, fingering weight) – black, white. Cotton yarn (200 m/50 g) – yellow (for the beak), gray (for the legs).
Hook size: 1.5 mm.
Plastic eyes size 3 mm, glue.
Sewing needle, scissors, pins.
Polyester fiberfill.
You may use any other type of yarn, just remember to use a crochet hook suitable for your yarn weight.
The toucan is about 6 cm (2.36”) high and 9 cm (3.54”) wide (from the beak to the tip of the tail).
Basic crocheting skills needed:
- Chain.
- Single crochet.
- Slip stitch.
- Increasing and decreasing.
