NOTE: this is not a ready made toy, this is a digital crochet tutorial of how to create such toy. There are no crochet lessons in this pattern. To create a toy, you need to have basic skills.
This pattern contains one PDF file with easy-to-follow written description of all the details and assembly plus many photos of the crocheting process.
Materials needed:
1) Yarn (sport weight):
– main color: Gazzal Baby Cotton 3454 (light terracotta) or 3453 (terracotta), 1 skein – 165 m/50 g
– muzzle: Alize Cotton Gold Tweed 01 – 330 m/100 g
– socks: YarnArt Jeans 01 (white) – 160 m/50 g
– t-shirt: Alize Bella 55 (white) – 180 m/50 g
– boots: YarnArt Jeans 28 (graphite) – 160 m/50 g / Drops Lima Mix 619 (beige) – 100 m/50 g
– overalls: Alize Cotton Gold 87 (grey), 16 g – 330 m/100 g
– sundress: YarnArt Jeans 71 (cocoa), half of a skein – 160 m/50 g.
2) Crochet hook size 2 mm.
3) Black thread for muzzle embroidery + threads for embroidery on a sundress (optional).
4) Buttons (I use buttons with a diameter of 1 cm).
5) Polyester fiberfill, sewing needle, scissors, pins.
You may use any other type of yarn, just remember to use a crochet hook suitable for your yarn weight.
Size of the finished toy is 26 cm (10.2″).
Basic crocheting skills needed:
- Chain.
- Single crochet.
- Half double crochet.
- Slip stitch.
- Increasing and decreasing.
