NOTE: this is not a ready made toy, this is a digital crochet tutorial of how to create such toy.

This pattern contains one PDF file with easy-to-follow written description of all the details and assembly. It’s a simple pattern, there are no photos of the crocheting process, only photos of how the finished toy looks like.

Materials needed:

Yarn: green (for the cactus), terracotta (for the pot), brown (for the ground), and a little for flowers. I used Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn (165 m/50 g, 60% cotton, 40% acrylic). It’s better to use yarns of similar weight for the cactus, pot and ground.
Crochet hook suitable for your yarn. I used 2 mm crochet hook.
Thin thread for decoration.
Polyester fiberfill, long needle, scissors, stitch marker, pins.
Felt (for mustaches) and glue.

You may use any other type of yarn, just remember to use a crochet hook suitable for your yarn weight.

Size of the finished toy is about 10 cm (3.9″).

Basic crocheting skills needed:

  1.  Chain.
  2.  Single crochet.
  3.  Slip stitch.
  4.  Increasing and decreasing.
  5. Half double crochet.
